Things to Know

Before your session, here are a few things that will help everything go smoothly. I’m always here to answer questions, help with outfit ideas, or suggest locations that fit the vibe you’re going for. Sessions start on time so we can make the most of your shoot, and all edited photos are delivered digitally in a private online gallery.

Turnaround time for photos is usually 1–2 weeks, depending on the session. A small deposit or full payment may be required at booking to hold your spot. If you need to reschedule, just let me know as soon as possible — life happens, and I’ll always do my best to work with you. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can easily pick a new date or find an indoor-friendly option.

I also want to be honest: I’m still learning and growing with every session, so please be patient with me. I care deeply about giving you a great experience, and I put my whole heart into making sure your photos turn out beautifully.

Most importantly, don’t stress about posing or feeling awkward in front of the camera — I’ll guide you the whole time so everything feels relaxed, natural, and fun. My goal is to make this a smooth, enjoyable experience from start to finish.

1. Can we bring our pets or props?

Absolutely! Pets and props can add such a fun and personal touch to your session. If you bring a pet, just make sure they’re comfortable around the camera and the environment we’ll be in. Feel free to bring anything that represents you—whether it’s a favorite blanket, flowers, or something meaningful to your relationship. I love incorporating little details that help make your photos feel even more “you.”

2. Do you help with planning our engagement session?

Yes! I’m happy to help you plan your engagement session from start to finish. I can offer suggestions for locations, poses, outfits, and even small details that help capture your personality as a couple. While I’m still learning and growing as a photographer, I’ll do my best to guide you so you feel confident, comfortable, and excited for your session. My goal is to make it fun, relaxed, and truly memorable.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

I understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a partial fee, as I reserve time especially for you. I’m still learning and growing as a photographer, so I really appreciate your patience and understanding!

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Yes! You’ll get all your edited digital photos delivered in an easy-to-download online gallery so you can share and enjoy them right away. I don’t offer prints or albums at the moment. I’m still learning and figuring things out as I go, but I promise to make sure your photos turn out beautifully and capture your memories just the way you want.

5. What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

No worries at all! If the weather isn’t ideal, we can absolutely reschedule or switch to a different location that works better. I always keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session, and I’ll communicate with you so we can make the best decision together. Whether we wait for a nicer day or find a cozy indoor spot, I’ll make sure we still get beautiful photos you’ll love. I want the experience to feel stress-free, even when the weather doesn’t go as planned.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Yes, definitely! If you have certain poses, ideas, or inspo photos you love, please share them with me. It really helps me understand the style and vibe you’re going for. I’m totally open to your ideas, and we can work together to make sure we capture the moments that matter most to you. I’m still learning, but I’ll always do my best to bring your vision to life while guiding you into natural, comfortable poses that feel genuine and true to you.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Yes, absolutely! I’d love to connect before your session. I usually prefer to meet over a video call or phone call so we can talk through your ideas, locations, outfits, and the vibe you’re going for. You can also email me your inspo first if that’s easier. And if you really want to meet in person, I’m totally willing to do that too. Getting to chat beforehand helps us feel more comfortable with each other, which makes the actual session feel relaxed and natural. I’m still learning as I go, but I’m always here to make the whole process easy and stress-free.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

You’ll typically get your fully edited digital photos within 2–3 weeks after your session. I take my time to make sure every image looks its best. Once they’re ready, I’ll deliver them in an online gallery that’s super easy to download, share, and look through at your own pace. If anything changes or I need a little extra time, I’ll always keep you updated.
